The USAID funded PROMISE program supports early product introduction planning for the monthly dapivirine ring in sub-Saharan Africa, with the goal of shaping the market and establishing a service delivery platform to support future multipurpose and longer-acting vaginal rings.

South African Guidelines for the Provision of Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to Persons at Substantial Risk of HIV Infection

These guidelines were developed by the South African National Department of Health and focus on the provision of PrEP as a part of a comprehensive approach to combination prevention, drawing on implementation and research evidence and WHO recommendations.
